Chiropractor Sterling MA Chris Petracco

Until this life changing event, Dr. Chris was determined to play professional hockey in Europe. He began to research chiropractic and spent the year after undergraduate studies doing volunteer work with a chiropractor in Toronto. Dr. Chris loved that chiropractic allowed the body to heal itself and function more efficiently without the help of medicine.

As a chiropractor, Dr. Chris feels blessed everyday to be able to help others function better and increase their potential. Dr. Chris enjoys caring for the whole family and looks forward to being your trusted health care professional for years to come!

Chiropractor Sterling MA Laurissa Simms Meet The Team
Chiropractor

Laurissa Simms D.C.

Athletes. We love them! So much so that Dr. Simms has made it her personal mission to try out all the sports: from marathon running/endurance training and yoga, skiing, HIIT, weightlifting, Barre, hiking, Wim Hof breathing, and progressive cold water exposure. She's going to continue the list, so make sure to check back often!

Sports and being at your finest is at the core of our philosophy. And Dr. Simms is completely in line with that! Going all the way back to her early years of practicing, you could find Dr. Simms helping out at sporting events, knowing full well the benefits that chiropractic care has for athletes and anyone wanting to move to their optimal ability (remember, if you read it on the internet, it's true!). Her love for helping athletes of all abilities is even evident where she first started practicing, in the heart of sports nation: right outside of Boston, MA in Cambridge, MA.

Dr. Laurissa Simms is a graduate of New York Chiropractic College and University of Massachusetts at Amherst. She further perfected her chiropractic skills by volunteering at numerous elite athletic events throughout the northeast, from Lake Placid to Boston. This was the start of her quest to help all those who want to be active, from elite athletes to weekend warriors. Taking that same sort of athlete mentality, Dr. Simms has continued to train to be a better chiropractor. Her certifications are too long to list here, but make sure to ask her about them the next time you're in.

And as any athlete, Dr. Simms has goals for her patients. Her main goal: patient empowerment. Dr. Simms' intention is to reconnect people with their body's innate and unlimited ability to heal itself. By facilitating this natural process through chiropractic care, lifestyle and movement prescription, she enhances her patient's adaptability. Now don't worry, you can still get on Dr. Simms' schedule even if you're not training for the Olympics. We are champions of everyone being an athlete, if you're a walker or marathon runner, we've got your pace covered and know how to treat any of your aches and pains and keep you in optimal health.

Patient empowerment is the ultimate goal of her care as she strives to educate her patients on taking health initiatives which both supplement her treatments and provide sustained relief and ease. Dr. Simms' intention is to reconnect people with their body's innate and unlimited ability to heal itself. By facilitating this natural process through chiropractic care, lifestyle and movement prescription, she enhances her patient's adaptability. Focusing on natural ways of living in our modern world, she guides patients to break out of their dysfunctional habits and start living more healthy lifestyles. She strongly believes that movement, non-GMO/whole foods, healthy relationships, reducing stressful triggers, and a clean, green environment are our best medicines.

Dr. Simms is a native of and actively enjoys her life in Leominster with her family. Her past athletic pursuits have included marathon running/endurance training and yoga, while her current athletic/movement passions include skiing, HIIT, weightlifting, Barre, hiking, Wim Hof breathing, and progressive cold water exposure.
